The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 will not be impacted by the 2023 strike of SAG-AFTRA, as stated by Take-Two Interactive, the owner of Rockstar Games.
The publisher’s perspective on the recently concluded labor dispute also offered an indirect hint about the state of its much-awaited game, emerging shortly after Rockstar confirmed that the first trailer for GTA 6 will be released in early December.
Take-Two ensures that GTA 6 will not be affected by the Actors’ Strike

GTA 6 will not be affected by the actors’ strike, says Take-Two (GTA RP Serves)
SAG-AFTRA initiated a strike in July due to a dispute with the AMPTP. Two months later, it extended the strike to video game companies. After a three-year agreement with Hollywood studios, the strike concluded in November.
Take-Two, before the strike ended, asserted that the development of GTA 6 was “completely protected.” This suggests that Rockstar may have completed the voice acting and motion capture for the game. The confirmation of the imminent trailer reinforces this idea, indicating a possible release in 2025, following a similar pattern to GTA 5.
